Highlander Contracting is proud to be a locally owned and operated Maryland utility contractor. Our employees are State Highway approved for traffic control and are confined space certified. All employees are subject to the company drug policy which includes pre-employment screening, random and post-accident testing. All supervisors have completed OSHA competent man training and BGE erosion control certifications. Our internal dig safe program “zero incident tolerance” has allowed us to have safe and successful installations. All employees are Amtrak and MTA certified to work on and around metro train installations. Our in house safety coordinator has a direct line of communication to the executive team. Safety is our number one priority.
